Current Interests:

Inhibition of cyclin-dependent kinases; discovery of mechanism-based anticancer drugs. Discovery of novel agents that modulate ion flux across cell membranes for the treatment of hypertension, myocardial ischemia, arrhythmia, and other cardiovascular problems, enzymes of the blood coagulation cascade and their relevance to thrombosis and hemostasis.
