There s an immediate opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the synthesis of novel small molecules for the treatment of cancer. The candidate should have experience in the synthesis of heterocycles and be familiar with basic peptide chemistry. Applicants should provide a brief outline of their research experiences, especially in organic synthesis. The names and contact information for three references should also be provided. Laboratory Research Assistant (Posted 2/8/08)
There is an immediate opening for a full-time or part-time Laboratory Research Assistant. The responsibilities of this position include performing laboratory animal experiments to evaluate the efficacy of new cancer chemotherapeutics. In addition, the candidate is expected to work with others members of the research group on the synthesis and purification of new anticancer agents. Experience in the handling of laboratory animals or in basic synthetic organic chemistry is an asset. Individuals should have a BS Degree and an intense interest to learn.
